Prisecco Aecht Bitter – Jörg Geiger Manufactory

The Prisecco Aecht Bitter is an exciting creation from the Jörg Geiger Manufactory. Non-alcoholic and sparkling, pleasantly dry yet fruity, served chilled it makes a good alternative to sparkling wine as an aperitif or wine as a food accompaniment. And don't worry, it's not that bitter.

The Prisecco Aecht Bitter is a sparkling, non-alcoholic aperitif with the taste of green hunting pear and gooseberries, complemented by ripe quince and the scent of delicate blossoms, paired with fine bitter notes from wormwood. The Aecht Bitter is best enjoyed at 8 to 10°C in a sparkling wine glass as a tart aperitif or in a white wine glass with poached white fish and light sauces.

The astringency (Swabian "räs") from the high tannin content of the green hunting pear indicates its potential. In addition to the juice of this old autochthonous wine pear, the red gooseberry underscores the fine acidity. Naturally, fragrant components such as orange blossom, acacia, and elderflower are also included. Yarrow and wormwood enhance the bitter note. A non-alcoholic declaration - Aecht Bitter!

Non-alcoholic – from the Geiger Manufactory

PriSecco is the best-selling specialty of the Geiger Manufactory. Sophisticated and balanced, the apple symphony surprises with its enormous complexity. The lack of alcohol is not perceived as a deficiency; quite the opposite. PriSecco fills a gap for new, modern non-alcoholic beverages based on old fruit varieties. The old apple and perry pear varieties come from the landscape-defining traditional orchards along the bird sanctuary at the foot of the Swabian Alb – hand-picked, ripened, and gently processed in Jörg Geiger's manufactory, who has received several awards (including from Slow Food) for his juices. Due to their distinct aroma, with the unique acidity of old apple varieties and the emphasized tannin note of the pear, these juices form a very special, natural basis for the Prisecco varieties.
