The Kohl Mountain Apple Juice Cuvée Apple Juice with Apricot is a bright orange, intensely fruity juice creation. The sweet and sour aroma of apricots pairs wonderfully with the sunny sweetness of hand-picked mountain apples. Thomas Kohl experimented until he found the perfect blending ratio, not too much and not too little of both, so that they ideally give each other room to unfold. This has been wonderfully successful. The fine acidity of the mountain apple juice brings a summery freshness, while the apricot pulp determines the mouthfeel and color.

Kohl Essence Cuvée Apple Juice with Apricot loves sweet dishes, egg dishes, soufflés, chocolate, and mild semi-hard cheese. It is recommended with hearty meals and enjoys both salty and sweet flavors. We like apricot with chicken curry or with panna cotta or apricot dumplings.

We recommend pouring Kohl Essence Apple Juice with Apricot into a stemmed glass so that, like with wine, the aromas can fully develop. This works best at a cool drinking temperature of 8 - 12°C. Please store the juice in a cool and dark place. Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 6 days.

South Tyrol – and the love for apricots

In South Tyrol, not only vineyards are cultivated or apples grown, but also plenty of apricots. 120 hectares, at mountain altitudes between 500-1100 meters, are planted with apricot trees. The main variety harvested here is the Vinschgau apricot, but also varieties like Goldrich, Hargrand, and Orange Red can be found in South Tyrol. The climate in Vinschgau is optimal, just like for the apples on the Ritten, the apricots experience strong temperature fluctuations between day and night, intense sunshine, and low rainfall. This allows the large, sweet fruits of the Vinschgau apricot to develop their full aroma, which makes the mountain apple juice with apricot so delicious.
