The Aecht Kimmel Non-Alcoholic is a dry bitter from the Jörg Geiger Manufactory without alcohol. Wonderfully sparkling and fabulously aromatic, it is a refreshing drink when well chilled, and completely alcohol-free. Now new in the small 375ml bottle.

Hand-picked apples and perry pears from old orchard varieties are gently pressed for this lightly sparkling Aecht Kimmel and married with cucumber juice and gooseberry juice. Added to this is a caraway hydrolate, because not only alcohol can be distilled, but also water-based hydrolates. As with caraway, various botanicals are also used for flavoring in Aecht Kimmel. Jörg Geiger chose dill, rose, lavender, as well as various herbs and spices.

The botanicals are steeped in water and gently captured in their scent and taste in the water-based hydrolate in the fine distillery. Thus, Aecht Kimmel comes without preservatives and is more than just an alcohol-free caraway with bitter herbs from the region.

The artisanally produced Aecht Kimmel has an intense aroma of Alb caraway, which develops its special aroma on the barren soils of the Swabian Alb and in the harsh climate of the region. Meadow caraway is part of the diverse flower meadow in WiesenObst and is now being cultivated again on the Swabian Alb by Wilfried Holder after years. People in earlier times already knew about the potential of caraway, collected it, and used it as a spice in the kitchen and for home remedies. It is rich in essential oils and, with its intense but mild taste, rounds off the alcohol-free Aecht Kümmel. In addition to caraway, cucumber and dill are predominant in the smell and taste of Aecht Kümmel. On the palate, the Virgin Longdrink Aecht Kimmel is dry and bitter with a strong finish.
